About
Marine electrical specialist serving Bay Area sailboats and powerboats since 2012, with a background in U.S. Coast Guard and Navy electronics.
My name is Jeremyn Horsley. I've been troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems in marine environments since 1995, and have been providing marine electrical services in the Bay Area since 2012.
I work on the hard stuff — intermittent faults, phantom draw, charging systems that misbehave, wiring that's been touched by too many hands, and stray current and galvanic corrosion.
Background
B.S. in Electrical Engineering. U.S. Navy avionics aboard the USS Enterprise, then several years as a Coast Guard electronics technician — maintaining 47' motor lifeboats, serving aboard a cutter, and supporting Rescue21 and station boat electronics across the district. After that, civilian work troubleshooting industrial power systems before focusing on marine.
